
GMS has been made aware that our Okta tenant, which is hosted in Okta Cell OK6, has been placed into Read-only (Safe) Mode while Okta Engineering investigates and remediates a performance issue.
What this means.
Users and administrators can still sign in and access applications in most cases. Some users may experience sign-in issues if their login requires Okta to update or collect required profile attributes, since Okta cannot write changes while in Read-only Mode. Administrator changes are currently restricted. This includes creating or modifying users, group memberships, application assignments, policies, and tenant settings. Automated provisioning and workflows that attempt to create or modify users, group memberships, or assignments may fail until Read-only Mode is lifted.
Okta has confirmed this is now resolved.
