8/12/2025 0920hrs EDT - There is a VOIP issue currently causing inbound calls from external numbers not to be able to be answered in Eastern Canada, but does not seem to be affecting Western Canada. Calling external numbers and internal extension is not affected. This has been escalated to Nuvollo and Totalcomm, awaiting further updates.

09:52HRS EDT - Totalcomm confirmed Ticket#134536 and that a tech is being assigned. Ticket also Opened with Nuvollo to coordinate Ticket #775946

10:10HRS EDT - Iristel the SIP provider posted a status update that they are experiencing a major outage affecting all provinces - IRISTEL Incident - PSTN Connectivity failure - Intermittent - 12 August 2025 https://status.iristel.com/incidents/9mq558ljnpgl

10:55 HRS EDT - Inbound calls for eastern Canada have started working normally again.

12:00HRS EDT - Issue has worsened and now inbound and outbound calls are not working nation wide affecting all yards with Mitel/Totalcomm phones.

14:00HRS EDT - We are observing that inbound and outbound external calls have started to flow normally again for all location nation wide. An update was sent to All Canadian Staff, no update was shared from Totalcomm or Iristel at this time. We continue to monitor the situation.

14:31HRS EDT - Iristel posted that at 14:00HRS EDT they implemented a fix that should resolve the issues for everyone.
